Who we are
Maritime Tennis offers tennis coaching across Prince Edward Island. This policy covers maritimetennis.com and the bookings, payments, and emails that run through it. We're based in Charlottetown, PEI, and you can reach us anytime at admin@maritimetennis.com.
What we collect
- When you book or contact us — your name, email, phone, address, lesson preferences, and anything you write in the notes or contact form.
- If you pay by card — your payment is handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number.
- Automatically — basic, anonymous usage stats (which pages get visited), and ad-measurement data if you've come from one of our ads (see Cookies & tracking below).
Why we use it
To schedule and run your lessons, confirm and remember your bookings, take payment, send booking emails (and marketing emails only if you opt in), and understand how people find and use the site so we can improve it and measure our ads.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. We use a few trusted services to run the business, and only share what each needs to do its job:
- Stripe — secure payment processing.
- Klaviyo — sending booking and marketing emails.
- Meta (Facebook / Instagram) — measuring how our ads perform, via the Meta Pixel and Conversions API. We share contact details in a hashed (scrambled) form so Meta can match ad results. You can opt out — see below.
- Vercel — website hosting and privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics.
- Neon — the secure database where bookings are stored.
Cookies & tracking
- Necessary — keep the site and checkout working (for example, Stripe during payment). These always run.
- Analytics — Vercel's privacy-friendly, cookieless stats. No personal data, so there's nothing to opt out of.
- Advertising — the Meta Pixel measures how our ads perform and sets a cookie. This runs by default, but you can opt out anytime, either with the button below or in your browser's cookie settings.
Your choices
- Marketing emails — every marketing email has an unsubscribe link; use it anytime.
- Ad cookies — opt out with the button above, or via your browser settings.
- Access, correct, or delete your info — email admin@maritimetennis.com and we'll take care of it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it to provide lessons, meet accounting and legal requirements, and honour your requests. Ask us to delete your information anytime and we will, unless we're required to keep it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page — the date below always reflects the latest version.
